Sara Deckard, of Denver, Colorado, has been in love with Lindy Hop for six years and loves to show it. Rather than technique and steps, Sara keeps her emphasis on the spirit of the music, creating authentic, organic movement, and having as much fun as possible, both in her performance and in her classes. She has won and places in many Solo Jazz and Jack and Jill competitions across the United States, including Camp Jitterbug, The National Jitterbug Championships and The Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown. She is very excited for her first year at Herrang Dance Camp and looks forward to sharing it with her fellow Jazz Era enthusiasts.
